Lakehomes.com was founded in 1996 by Dan & Sandy Anderson as one of the first property specific real estate sites on the Internet. As lake property specialists in Minneapolis and St. Paul since 1988, they envisioned the Internet becoming a major force in helping waterfront buyers and sellers across Minnesota and the United States, and the Lakehomes.com concept seemed to be a perfect fit.

Recently, Lakehomes.Com expanded its operations to Grand Rapids, Minnesota - a bustling Northern Minnesota small town with a strong school system and economy, surrounded by tall pines and 1,000 crystal clear lakes. Just three hours from Minneapolis and St. Paul, Grand Rapids is seeing an influx of both young families and early retirees wanting to take advantage of the beautiful scenery and more relaxing lifestyle.

After several years in the real estate business I saw a need for a no frills, low commission office in this area.  I believe that people are willing to pay a fair fee for goods and services that they need.  Many Companies charge a 6 or 7 % selling fee.  We at Lange Realty feel that 4 �% is fair enough for most properties.  An example of savings to the Seller on a $99,294 sale price, (the in-town Grand Rapids average sale as of 9/25/02), would be $1,241.17 to $2,234.11. 

We will list your property in the Multiple Listing Service.  If another Brokerage brings a Buyer we will pay them the same fee that they pay us when we sell their properties.  We do not discount their fee and fully cooperate with other companies.
